Has it ever happened that you suddenly find yourself feeling sad, blue or even depressed?
Or perhaps you woke up in the morning and you were totally fine and after speaking to that one friend or watching something online you suddenly felt really negative about life?
“What was that about?” you hear yourself cry out inside!
This could very well be something that you ‘absorbed’ into your energy field without being aware of it.
Thought forms carry an energy. They can linger around and attach themselves to our energy field, especially if we have empathy for people. Or perhaps we resonate with what they say to the extent that we want to take on their stuff to help them. This happens at an unconscious level and yet can impact us without really understanding what it is about.
So what can I do?
You can clear all this out easily with intention. Either through meditation, yoga or any practice that brings you back to centre.
Sometimes you also need a little bit of help to calibrate back to your inner being. This is the God-Self within you that dispels all energies that do not belong to you.
A simple energy cleansing process that also releases deeply held, bottom beliefs which keep you hooked into certain energies can help with this.

Start with Self
As energy resonates with energy, if you want to avoid absorbing other people’s negativity, start with yourself. The best place is not to be in resonance with any of those energies.
We can do this in energy alignment sessions or you can work through affirmations. Whichever way finds you, let it be the one that resonates with you most.
In time your energy field will be so strong that anything around you dispels through pure compassionate presence. This is the energy of unconditional love of your inner being.
